		<description>melting the stainless may change the composition of the ss enough to allow it to rust, but probably only in very small spots. 
If you have access to a waterjet, that would be a super fast and clean cut. If not, cut the pieces big with a  band saw, then stack them and finish the edges with a milling machine.

If it&#039;s very thin ss, you might be able to use a sheetmetal breaker or punch. would probably need to be less than 1/16&quot;</description>
